How we can help you

Our mission is to remove financial barriers to accessing private counselling and psychotherapy. Private therapy offers a choice of type of therapy and therapist, flexibility in regards to the number of sessions, often significantly shorter waiting times than statutory services, in a non-medical setting. For many people the cost makes a potentially life-changing service inaccessible.

The Jonathan Upshall Foundation provides grants to cover the cost of a course of therapy sessions, and we welcome applications from anyone over 18 who is unemployed or under-employed. If you’d like to apply for a grant, or discuss how we might help you, please get in touch.
