If you chose to ‘like’ or ‘follow’ our Facebook business page, we do not hold any data about that, or any interactions on the page, outside of the Facebook page
Our website jonathanupshallfoundation.org uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which encrypts the connection between the browser and web server and securely transmits information, ensuring the transferred data cannot be read or modified by third parties
If you click on ‘contact us’ on our website, it will take you to your email service to send us an email
If you complete the ‘subscribe’ feature on the home page of our website, your email address will be recorded on a spreadsheet in Google Drive, which is protected by a password and a pin code. We will then send you occasional updates about our service by email. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by replying with the word ‘stop’ in the title of the email
How we will securely store your information:
If you email us we may store your email address in our email account. We access our emails via a mobile phone and laptop, which are both secured with pin codes and antivirus software. We will delete your email address and any email correspondence if you request that we do
If you phone or text us we may store your phone number in our mobile phone if there is ongoing communication. The phone is secured with a pin code. We will delete your phone number and any text correspondence if you request that we do
Data retention:
We store data for a maximum of for two years after we have ended our correspondence
We will delete all information relating to you that we hold if you request that we do so

You have rights and control over how your data is used, and the relevant laws are the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA)
You have the right to be informed of what information we hold, and how it is stored and processed
You have a right to see the information we hold about you, free of charge
You have a right to rectify any inaccurate or incomplete personal information
You have the right to withdraw your consent to us using your personal information
You have the right to request that your personal information is erased
We can decline requests to erase information that we need to retain to practice lawfully and competently

We will comply with your request as soon as we are able to and within one month

You can complain if you think we have broken the GDPR or DPA 2018 laws
